While Hobie is best known for their pedal-drive models (the “Mirage” drive), there is a traditional paddle-only version of most popular Mirage models as well.  For example, the paddle-only equivalent of the popular pedal-drive Revolution 13 is the Quest 13 – exact same hull, but without the hole in the hull for the drive, and no rudder.  Other comparisons are between the pedaled Revolution 11 and the paddled Quest 11; the Mirage Oasis and paddle Odyssey;  and the Mirage Sport and paddle Lanai.  The paddle versions of course have a lower price point, so it’s a great way to get into a quality Hobie at a great price.  Learn more about each paddle model below.

We rent and sell Hobie Mirage and paddle kayak models from our store location on Lake Havasu.  Find us at the English Village, right at the London Bridge.
